Overview Hue
Thua Thien Hue ( Hue city) province is located in Central of Vietnam. It is next to Quang Tri province to the north, Da Nang to the south, and Sea to the east. This province leans up against the Truong Son mountain range and is washed by the East Sea, along its 120km seaside. Hue offers very diversified and beautiful sceneries. Nature and human beings create a romantic and harmoniously beauty with Bach Ma National Park and other attractive beautiful beaches such as Lang Co, Thuan An and Canh Duong. Hue provides a well-balanced blend of traditional culture and royal heritages such as Hue citadel, Minh Mang tomb, Tu Duc tomb, Khai Dinh tomb and so on. Travelers are able to discover dozens of handicraft villages, with annual festivals that are painstakingly organized. Hue is also an major center of Buddhism of Vietnam. Hue is still existing tens of pagodas constructed more 300 years ago, and hundred of temples and pagodas built in the early 20th century. One of most famous pagoda in Hue where you must see named Thien Mu pagoda. Besides that, travelers are able to enjoy many traditional famous dishes and find out about sophisticated handicraft here. Hue Citadel has been conceded as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO since December 1993, Hue Royal Musical (Nha nhac) has been recognized as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage since November 2003.
